| They called me......"The Queen of Beads" Here's my bead story and I'm sticking to it - - - -I started collecting beads and recycling old necklaces in the early 1980's as a hobby. I would wear my creations to an opening or event and inevitably someone would ask me where I purchased my jewelry. Eventually, I started collecting more beads on trips I would take around the country and even across the ocean Not surprisingly, friends would even bring me beads when they traveled too! I just loved the textures, colors and variety of forms of these multi-shaped marvels - whether they were mass produced or made by a talented an artisan. Today, I have beads in every color and texture and enjoy making necklaces, earrings and even matching sets. At the heart of my jewelry designs is a sense of individuality. No two pieces are exactly alike and people who wear my jewelry tell me that is the most exciting feature of my original designs. I love balance, simplicity and above all COLOR. (Everyone knows I love color!) I enjoy making commission pieces for just the right "special" occasion or to throw on with a pair of jeans.
